Objectives of this module

Understanding the scientific, political, and social dimensions of the climate change crisis, linking them to concepts of climate justice, human rights, and sustainable human development in the Arab region, and critiquing the prevailing economic model and its role in deepening the crisis, through concrete Arab examples and experiences.

Analyzing climate policies in the Arab region from a justice perspective, focusing on the challenges of climate finance and debt, the Loss and Damage Fund, and enhancing understanding of the role of Arab civil society in holding decision-makers accountable.
